🌟 All Good Things: AlternaStack's Final Tool Tuesday

Hey there, AlternaStack community,

This isn't your typical Five Tool Tuesday. Today, I'm writing with a bittersweet announcement: this will be the final edition of AlternaStack’s Five Tool Tuesday.

When I started this newsletter, it was a simple idea - share the cool tools I was discovering each week with like-minded folks who get as excited about new tech as I do.

Every reply, every shared tool recommendation, every "this email brings me a lot of value” message has meant the world to me. In many ways, this has turned my personal obsession with finding cool tools into something much bigger than myself.

So why am I ending it?

After writing about new tools for weeks and having been evaluating new tools myself as a marketing leader - I’ve come to realize that this is not how people make decisions around new tools in their tech stack. The root of implementing a new tool is a problem that needs to be solved, and unfortunately getting five tool recommendations in your inbox without understanding your problems, doesn’t really help.

I’ve also struggled to balance five tools that were genuinely new and interesting, while also sticking to themes that would make the email more topic based (e.g. email marketing, image optimization, product demo software).

While I've loved curating these tools for you each week, I believe in doing things wholeheartedly or not at all.

What's Next?

Though AlternaStack is ending, my tool obsession isn't going anywhere. You can stay connected with me on LinkedIn where I’ll continue sharing my tool recommendations occasionally, while also dishing out insights into my AI workflows.
